Our recycled plastic picnic tables are the hard-wearing, low-maintenance alternative to timber. Made in Derbyshire from 100% recycled UK plastic, they won’t rot, splinter or need treating, and they’ll last for decades in schools, parks, pub gardens and back gardens alike. Adult, junior and wheelchair-accessible designs available, with free delivery to most UK postcodes.
The material used in our picnic tables will last for at least 20 years, probably even longer. This means they are perfect for any outdoor space, public or private, as they won’t need to be maintained or replaced for decades.
All our picnic tables are built using recycled plastic – this makes them resistant to all sorts of weather. Whether it’s snowing, raining, misty, damp or we’re lucky enough to have a sunny day, our picnic tables will handle them all.
From compact tables for the garden to larger and wheelchair-accessible designs for schools and public spaces, there’s a picnic table for every setting. Choose your colours, add an engraved plaque or your organisation’s logo, and it’ll fit right in.
We love hearing from our customers about how they’re enjoying their furniture – we get positive feedback almost every week. We’re not saying this to boast, but because we’re proud of how many of our customers love their furniture, because it means you’re going to love yours just as much!
We use recycled plastic to make our picnic tables. If the table has a commemorative plaque added, then that is made from brass, steel, anodised aluminium or acrylic.
The main benefit of manufacturing picnic tables from recycled plastic is that it’s a sustainable, long-lasting solution for the garden. All the plastic used in our picnic tables is recycled from British waste, which actively reduces the amount of non-biodegradable plastic that ends up in landfill.
Because plastic is such a hard-wearing material, recycled plastic makes perfect sense for picnic tables, which are typically in busy outdoor spaces and receive heavy use.
In most circumstances, our recycled plastic profiles can be worked like traditional building materials such as wood and can be cut, drilled, nailed, screwed.
There are a couple of ways that your picnic table can be customised. You can get in touch with us to discuss these options.
A memorial plaque can be included, containing a message, and also an image if required.
A message and images can also be engraved directly into the plastic planks of the picnic table.
Yes. Our wheelchair-accessible picnic table has an extended top at one end so a wheelchair user can sit at the table with everyone else. It’s a popular choice for schools, care homes and public parks, and it can be personalised like the rest of our range.
All of our picnic tables are hand-built on-demand, so delivery times can vary depending on how busy we are. However, all of our products will show an estimated delivery date when ordering them.
Most products come fully assembled. Some larger items are supplied in sections ready for final assembly. These are supplied with all the fixings and basic tools. Where final assembly is required we will tell you and provide you with the necessary instructions once you have placed your order.
The material used for our picnic tables will not rot or decay, we estimate that our products can last for a minimum of 20 years, and quite easily 50 years (it’s an estimate, because none of our products are over 20 years old yet)
No. Our recycled plastic picnic tables will never require any additional maintenance or up-keep. Just a wipe down when required.
Wooden equivalents require regular staining and maintenance, and are prone to rotting and becoming fragile over time.
However, due to our picnic tables being made from ultra-durable plastic, this isn’t something you will ever need to worry about.
