Welcome hedgehogs into your garden with this specially designed hedgehog house hand crafted in Derbyshire.

The hedgehog house is ideal for hibernation over winter, raising a family in the spring, or somewhere to hide away during the day or shelter from harsh weather. Add extra houses in your garden to encourage more hedgehogs.

    Our plaques come in many different sizes, shapes and colours, perfect to commemorate, remember or celebrate any occasion. Start by picking the style of your plaque.

    First, pick the material you'd like your plaque to be made from. The price under each material is for the standard 50mm x 100mm size

    How big do you want your plaque to be? Larger sizes work better on bigger items of furniture like benches

    What typeface would you like your message to be written in?

    What message would you like on your plaque? You can have up to 5 lines of text, but depending on the size of your plaque, more text will mean smaller writing. We will send you a proof of how your plaque look and will work with you to make sure it's just right before manufacturing it.

    When entering your message, you can use letters, numbers or punctuation - but please do NOT add emoji's/symbols as these can't be added to your plaque.

    Add an image to your Plaque?

    You can also add an image to your Plaque (although bear in mind this will reduce the amount or size of your text message) - if you don't have an image in mind, have a look at some examples of images you could choose from our library. Or you can upload your own image as a line drawing, or even just a sketch or photo, we'll convert it into a line drawing that can be engraved onto your plaque.

    You can also add a cutout photo to your Plaque (although bear in mind this will reduce the amount or size of your text message).

    Add a cutout photo to your plaque - with this process, we'll take your image/shape and cut it out to make a smaller plaque, which is great for logos. Images must be uploaded in a Jpeg format and be no larger than 10MB Here's an example of how a cutout would look after engraving;

    What's next?

Being made from thick recycled plastic makes this a practical, sturdy and hard wearing alternative to traditional wooden houses. The weight of the box will prevent it from being moved by larger animals and it has been designed to include a narrow tunnel that prevents predators from reaching the hedgehog. It won’t be affected by wet and frosty conditions either.

After the hedgehog has left, the house can easily be hosed clean with water as the dense plastic doesn’t harbour bacteria, making it quick and convenient to maintain and kind to the hedgehog too.
