Why choose a TDP Recycled Plastic planter?

Lasts a lifetime

The material used in our planters will last for at least 25 years, probably even longer. This means that when you buy a recycled plastic planter from TDP, it’ll last as many seasons as you want to plant in it… and beyond!

Built for British weather

All our planters are built using recycled plastic – this makes them resistant to all sorts of weather. Whether it’s snowing, raining, misty, damp or we’re lucky enough to have a sunny day, our planters will handle them all without the need to be maintained.

Fits in everywhere

We design and build our planters in a variety of styles so that they are the perfect planter for not just the home, but streets, town centers and parks. We can offer personalisation, different colours and logos to make it fit in everywhere.

Our customers love their furniture. we know you’ll love yours too!

We love hearing from our customers about how they’re enjoying their furniture – we get positive feedback almost every week. We’re not saying this to boast, but because we’re proud of how many of our customers love their furniture, because it means you’re going to love yours just as much!

We’re often asked…

We use recycled plastic to make our garden planters. If the planter has a commemorative plaque added, then that is made from brass, steel, anodised aluminium or acrylic.

The main benefit of manufacturing garden planters from recycled plastic is that it’s a sustainable, long-lasting solution for the garden. All the plastic used in our planters is recycled from British waste, which actively reduces the amount of non-biodegradable plastic that ends up in landfill.

Because plastic is such a hard-wearing material, recycled plastic makes perfect sense for planters, which are typically in outdoor spaces and receive heavy use.

In most circumstances, our recycled plastic profiles can be worked like traditional building materials such as wood and can be cut, drilled, nailed, screwed.

There are a couple of ways that your planters can be customised. You can get in touch with us to discuss these options.

A memorial plaque can be included, containing a message, and also an image if required.

A message and images can also be engraved directly into the plastic planks of the planter.

All of our garden planter products are hand-built on-demand, so delivery times can vary depending on how busy we are. However, all of our products will show an estimated delivery date when ordering them.

Most products come fully assembled. Some larger items are supplied in sections ready for final assembly. These are supplied with all the fixings and basic tools. Where final assembly is required we tell you on the product page and the assembly instructions are available to view and download before you purchase

The material used for our outdoor seating will not rot or decay, we estimate that our products can last for a minimum of 25 years, and quite easily 50 years (it’s an estimate, because none of our products are over 20 years old yet)

No. Our recycled plastic garden planters will never require any additional maintenance or up-keep. Just a wipe down when required.

Wooden equivalents require regular staining and maintenance, and are prone to rotting and becoming fragile over time.

However, due to our planters being made from ultra-durable plastic, this isn’t something you will ever need to worry about.
