    What message would you like on your plaque? You can have up to 5 lines of text, but depending on the size of your plaque, more text will mean smaller writing. We will send you a proof of how your plaque look and will work with you to make sure it's just right before manufacturing it.

    You can also add an image to your Plaque (although bear in mind this will reduce the amount or size of your text message) - if you don't have an image in mind, have a look at some examples of images you could choose from our library. Or you can upload your own image as a line drawing, or even just a sketch or photo, we'll convert it into a line drawing that can be engraved onto your plaque.

    You can also add a cutout photo to your Plaque (although bear in mind this will reduce the amount or size of your text message).

    Upload your cutout photo

    Add a cutout photo to your plaque - with this process, we'll take your image/shape and cut it out to make a smaller plaque, which is great for logos. Images must be uploaded in a Jpeg format and be no larger than 10MB Here's an example of how a cutout would look after engraving;

    What's next?

Remember, we will always send a proof (a sample image of what your plaque will look like) for your approval before production, so you'll be able to confirm your choices again.

    If you're thinking of adding a plaque to your furniture, you can also join our new My Place and Story service. This service adds a QR code alongside your plaque or engraving.  When this code is scanned by a smartphone, it'll take the visitor to a web page that gives more background and history to the person or place the bench is remembering. Unlike wood the Ipstone will not rot and, unlike terracotta, will not crack in frosty weather. It is easy to clean too – just hose it off with a pressure washer at the end of the season and it will look like new again without the need for staining or re-painting. The plastic material benefits plants too as the thickness of the recycled planks helps to keep the soil warmer, which in turn encourages healthy growth.

    Ian works with the ‘Breath of fresh air’ Charity and ordered two Ipstone Planters and two 1.8 Dale benches for the courtyard at Glenfield Hospital.

    Thank you for all your help in getting them done and dispatched for delivery today. Once the planters are planted, we will take more photos and send them.

    We are really pleased with them as were the nursing staff who will benefit from somewhere to sit and relax also a place for patients and their families.
