With the “outside rule of 6” set to return in late March, we were desperate for a family get together. It was clear our aged timber furniture wasn’t fit to host visitors, so it went to the tip and we needed to source some new kit. We scoured the web, lots of options, none of which really “floated our boat”. Then we stumbled across TDP, advertising some lovely looking, maintenance free products, made from recycled plastic.
Digging a little deeper, I was a little disappointed to find that there wasn’t anything that perfectly suited our requirements but I was “hooked” on the concept, so decided to use their “contact us” page and I’m really glad I did. It was Saturday night when I sent my first mail and on Sunday Rob responded to my message. From that moment on, I knew we’d be doing business. After a quick flurry of emails and a couple of phone calls, we were all set, with the TDP production team proposing a bespoke, 6 seater table and chair set.
Throughout this process, everyone I spoke to at TDP were absolutely first class, seemingly, some of the most helpful folk on the planet, an absolute delight to deal with.
My furniture arrived today, just as they said it would. So that’s the people, now onto the product:
Having spent some 43 years working as a Manufacturing Engineer in the aircraft manufacturing industry, I’m a bit of a stickler for quality, I know exactly what a “good” should look like and I’m all too often left a little disappointed. But not in this case.
This kit is very good, in fact it’s absolutely first class. It’s chunky, it’s weighty, it’s a modern rustic design, which has a lovely feel to it, that really appeals. Its very well put together, with the individual component parts fitting perfectly together, with no sharp edges. It arrived fully assembled from TDP’s factory, using quality fixtures and fittings and I’ve absolutely no doubts, that it’ll still be going strong long after I’m gone.
One very satisfied customer. Many thanks to all at TDP.
