When Wirksworth Rotary Club asked if they could visit TDP to see how we made our furniture, we were only too pleased to say yes.
Rob & Kym led a tour of the factory and explained how the recycled plastic furniture was made. Why it is essential to the environment that plastic waste is effectively recycled and reused. Rob outlined how the process reduces the consumption of raw materials, reduces power consumption and pollution, and helps the UK towards becoming carbon neutral.
The group commented that “We were very impressed to see the quality and value of the product, and how by creating the furniture it prevented plastic from having to go to landfill or into the oceans. And we are proud that such a company is located in our town. Thank you to Rob and Kym for their time, enthusiasm and warm welcome.”
