Recycled project for memorial benches in New Brighton

Recycled plastic waste profiles make benches

Memorial Benches for New Brighton Promenade

The Mosslands school and Wirral Older People’s Parliament, with the support from Colas and Wirral Council, joined forces to provide memorial benches on Ian Fraser Walk, along the Marine Promenade in New Brighton.

Having researched recycled materials that could withstand the coastal elements, Year 12 students from The Mosslands School chose TDP’s recycled plastic profiles for their design, and installed them as part of the project. The memorial seats have transformed an existing concrete structure to make a more comfortable and colourful place to sit.

To purchase one of the New Brighton benches, please contact Wirral Older Peoples Parliament https://wirralopp.co.uk/brighten-new-brighton-2/

I purchased a bench a couple of years ago. Under the impression that I had bought my bench and was the legal owner. Can anyone tell me please is this the case? or do the benches belong to W B C or O P P. Thank you. Gina.
