What materials are used to make your planters?
We use recycled plastic to make our planters. If the planter has a commemorative plaque, then it is made from brass, steel, anodised aluminium or acrylic.
What's the benefit of using recycled plastic?
The main benefit of manufacturing planters from recycled plastic is that it’s an eco-friendly way to decorate either a garden or a street. All the plastic used in our planters is recycled from British waste, which actively reduces the amount of non-biodegradable plastic that ends up in landfill.
Because plastic is such a hard-wearing material, recycled plastic makes perfect sense for planters, which are typically in public spaces and will endure a lot of moisture and bad weather.
The planter will be in a public park or beauty spot, is it environmentally safe?
Yes, the plastic that we use when manufacturing our benches is completely non-toxic. Our benches will not damage the environment they are in and are also safe for animals. They are ideal for placing in parks, gardens, streets, places of remembrance, and beauty spots.
What personalisation options do you offer?
There are a couple of ways that a planter can be customised. Both of these options can be added to your planter on the product page
A memorial plaque can be included, containing a message, and also an image if required.
A message and images can also be engraved directly into the plastic planks of the planter.
How long does it take for a planter to be delivered?
All of our planters are hand-built on-demand, so delivery times can vary depending on how busy we are. However, all of our products will show an estimated delivery date when ordering them.
Is there any assembly required?
No, we fully assemble every planter before delivery.
How long do your planters last?
The material used for our planters will not rot or decay. Our planters make the perfect lasting tribute because they will last for decades.
Do your planters require any special maintenance?
No. Our recycled plastic planters will never require any additional maintenance or up-keep. Just a wipe down when required.
Wooden planters require regular staining and maintenance, and are prone to rotting and becoming fragile over time.
However, due to our planters being made from ultra-durable plastic, this isn’t something you will ever need to worry about.
