Historic Bakewell Welcomes New Furniture

Engraved Riber Bench in Bakewell

Bakewell is a small market town and civil parish in the Derbyshire Dales. Famous for the well known for the local confection Bakewell pudding.

In 2017 the Bakewell branch of the Royal British Legion and a team of volunteers worked hard to restore the Memorial Gardens to make it a real community place to visit again.

In the 100th year anniversary of WW1, Bakewell Town Council and Royal British Legion have sited two new recycled plastic benches in the British Legion Memorial Gardens.

Each Riber bench has been personalised with engraving into the recycled plastic slat.

In addition to these a Tea for Two and Dale bench in the urban grey and black were sited at the Bakewell Almshouses.

The furniture is made from recycled plastic waste that does not require any painting or staining, it will never rot and is very robust, giving the furniture a long life span.

All of these attributes were key requirements for Bakewell Town Council and RBL.

Take a look at how you can personalise your recycled plastic bench with our engraving.
