Garbage to garden

With the concerns over plastics and their build-up in the environment, TDP is playing a major role in reducing the problems in the UK in the world of outdoor products. We use recycled plastic waste to create a range of benches, garden dining sets, planters and wild bird products.

The 100% recycled high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic comes from waste, recycled by UK residents and processed at local UK recycling plants, and the products sare hand-made by craftsmen in Derbyshire, creating a sustainable virtuous circle and keeping carbon footprints to a minimum.

In the six years we have been producing recycled garden products, it has saved 2,528,000kg of plastic waste from being sent to UK landfill; that’s equivalent to more than 1.5 billion plastic bottle tops.

Great range – enormous advantages

The products are available in a range of 11 colours, from more traditional brown and black through lilac and blue to orange and red. So, you can choose a more traditional look, or products with a real “wow” factor that truly stand out in the garden, park or public space.

The range includes garden chairs, tables and benches, planters, bird tables and nest boxes. New items are being designed and added all of the time. There is also an innovative range of children’s furniture, which thanks to the wide range of colours available, is particularly loved by children, younger members of the family and those “on trend” with strong colours.

With its realistic wood effect grain, each product fits beautifully in any garden, play area or village green.

For a more personal touch, products can be personalised and engraved – either a on a plaque or within the plastic plank itself. This further increases their appeal when given as gifts or used in commemoration of an event or person.
