    What message would you like on your plaque? You can have up to 5 lines of text, but depending on the size of your plaque, more text will mean smaller writing. We will send you a proof of how your plaque look and will work with you to make sure it's just right before manufacturing it.

    You can also add an image to your Plaque (although bear in mind this will reduce the amount or size of your text message) - if you don't have an image in mind, have a look at some examples of images you could choose from our library. Or you can upload your own image as a line drawing, or even just a sketch or photo, we'll convert it into a line drawing that can be engraved onto your plaque.

Photos are engraved into the aluminium by laser and appear as a half-tone image. Here's an example of a plaque in 'Nickel' with a photo engraved;

    Add a Cut out image to your Plaque?

    You can also add a cutout photo to your Plaque (although bear in mind this will reduce the amount or size of your text message).

    Upload your cutout photo

    Add a cutout photo to your plaque - with this process, we'll take your image/shape and cut it out to make a smaller plaque, which is great for logos. Images must be uploaded in a Jpeg format and be no larger than 10MB Here's an example of how a cutout would look after engraving;

    What's next?

    Press the "Save choices" button below and your plaque options will be saved, you'll be able to see these choices again on the checkout page. If you need to make any additional changes, you can always press the "Configure your plaque" button again. Remember, we will always send a proof (a sample image of what your plaque will look like) for your approval before production, so you'll be able to confirm your choices again.

    If you're thinking of adding a plaque to your furniture, you can also join our new My Place and Story service. This service adds a QR code alongside your plaque or engraving.  When this code is scanned by a smartphone, it'll take the visitor to a web page that gives more background and history to the person or place the bench is remembering. It's a great way to expand and say more than you can on a plaque, and really tell somebody the full story. Want to know more about how this service works?

The Hummingbird Junior Picnic Table is handmade to order in our Derbyshire factory. Whether it is a traditional wood effect you are looking for or a kaleidoscope of colours, the Hummingbird is the perfect piece of outdoor furniture for schools, activity centres and gardens.

Made from recycled plastic profiles, the Hummingbird is not only a practical choice as it will not rot, warp, splinter or fade in sunlight, but is a sustainable alternative to wood as it is manufactured from UK plastic waste that would otherwise be destined for landfill. It is hygienic too without the need for any maintenance – just wipe clean with anti-bacterial spray before lunchtime.
